It looks like recaptcha is easily thwarted either by cheap labor or some other means, because I am still getting tons of spam signups.

I thought I'd give it a go. From searching for FLIR in the wordpress plugin directory to having it working on my site took less than 2 minutes. It would have been even quicker if I had read the instructions and new that the settings are done from the wordpress appearances menu not tools or settings.
I think this is a really useful tool. Have a look. SPD Pedals I'm using bluehighwayregular as the standard font on this one but I look forward to having a play
