Flir Using Fancy Fonts Plugin

I am trying to use the fancy Fonts plugin, but I am just not seeing where I can access it. I have read the documentation but it is not very clear and I am still not seeing anywhere that I can enable the plugin.  I read one post that said something about a checkbox, and on the documentation page it says to Create a new FLIRStyle Object and set the mode to 'fancyfonts'. but I don't see any place to set the mode, and it does not tell you how to create the new FLIRStyle Object. Please help! I checked my server's documentation and I have set the path to ImageMagick, but the main header is still not rendering as it should. The rendered image background is not transparent. You can see it at www.notesfromallover.info Thank you, Anji

Re: Flir Using Fancy Fonts Plugin

I found that my server didn't have a newer version installed. Also, you have to select a javascript method other than automatic, otherwise the options don't even show up . . .but now that I got that part resolved, now I have another problem. The Images are not being rendered in the correct font, and if I right click and select view image, I get this set of errors:

Warning: filemtime() [function.filemtime]: stat failed for cache/d3/8e/d38e096d85973627d399401ef10c86dc.png in D:\inetpub\vhosts\beautifulyoumakeup.com\. . .\facelift-image-replacement\facelift\inc-flir.php on line 380

have run the generate.php and got the null image, and I tested to make sure that the imagemagic plugin was being accessed. It was, but for some reason doesn't render the right font. If I turn off imagemagick, the fonts will appear, but they do not look right (chunks being blocked out etc.) If I render the font as a gif without fancyfonts, the font looks good, but it has an ugly background color. Maybe changing the background color to white would fix the problem, but I don't know where or how to put the code.

Thanks :)

The easiest way to fix this would be to set a background color through CSS on the element.

h2 { background-color:inherit; }

That should do the trick assuming the parent element is the one with the background color set.  Whatever color is set as the CSS background color will be used when generating the GIF.

Check out Facelift v2.0 beta 3.  The best version yet.

Re: Flir Using Fancy Fonts Plugin

I figured out the problem :) the path to the windows server just needed to be left blank. it works with fancy fonts now, thanks
